  • Can I leave clothing in dressers?
If your dresser is small or light weight (typically 200 lbs or under) you can leave clothes in the dresser drawers. We just ask that you remove breakable and valuable items. If your dresser has thin/weak legs or a marble/granite top we request that you empty the drawers.
  • How will you protect my furniture during a move?
Your movers will wrap all furniture items in moving blankets (secured with bands or shrink wrap) before they are loaded on the truck. We carefully load and stack your items on the truck to maximize space, and keep everything secure using ratchet straps. Heavy items go on the bottom, lighter on top, with proper padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Items will remain wrapped and protected until placed where they belong inside your new home. Additionally, we provide floor and door protection at the primary entrance of your home for further protection of your property.
  • How can I get an estimate for my upcoming move?
To start, fill out the FREE Estimate request form, or simply give us a call. We'll provide a quick estimate, and when more information is needed we offer both in-home or virtual options.
  • Do you work in inclement weather?
We certainly do. If weather conditions are poor we will go the extra mile to make sure your belongings are covered and your home's floors remain clean and dry. If weather conditions become too severe for us to travel to/from the job, or too intense for us to safely load/unload your belongings, we will make arrangements to complete the job as soon as possible.
  • Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are licensed and insured!
  • Do you offer storage services?
No. However, we're happy to help you move your belongings into or out of a storage facility of your choosing.
  • Can you move me out of state?
We are happy to move you anywhere within the state of Tennessee! However, we are not currently offering interstate moves.
  • Do I need to be present during the entire moving process?
It's not imperative, but it is usually helpful (and sometimes necessary) on larger moves to have someone available. It's not that we require supervision, but it's common for movers to occasionally need direction about where to place furniture and other belongings. We want to work quickly so that you save money, so it's helpful to have somebody nearby, especially during the unloading process.
  • Are there any common items that movers are NOT supposed to transport?
Yes. It's crucial to remember that certain items are hazardous or prohibited from transportation for safety reasons. Avoid packing the following items... Hazardous Materials: - Paints, varnishes, and paint thinners - Aerosol cans - Motor oil and gasoline - Propane tanks and other compressed gas cylinders - Pesticides and fertilizers - Cleaning solvents and chemicals - Batteries (especially car batteries) - Pool chemicals - Ammunition - Liquid bleach - Matches - Fireworks - Charcoal Perishable Foods: - Produce - Frozen/refrigerated foods - Open food containers - Plants *For local moves that do not require overnight storage, perishable items that are properly packed may be transported by your movers (always best to ask in advance).
  • What can I do to save money on my move?
To keep your moving costs down, try to be as prepared as possible when we arrive. Use uniform-sized boxes, tape them securely, and label everything clearly so our team can grab and go. We are happy to disassemble furniture for you, but it does take time. If you're able, disassemble larger furniture like beds and desks in advance. Another helpful tip is to move as much as you can into a front room or the garage. It’s faster for the movers to load and unload everything to/from one spot. While we’re happy to carry your stuff to each individual room, it’s quicker (and therefore less expensive) to have it all in one space so you can sort through it later at your own pace. Little things like this make the move go faster and keep your labor costs down! Ultimately, anything you can do ahead of time to speed up the process will help reduce your overall move costs.
  • My move includes several stops to pick up and/or drop off items along the way. Is this ok?
Absolutely! We handle complex moves all the time. We just ask that you provide this information up front so that you receive a proper estimate and your belongings are loaded in the correct order on moving day.
  • Do the movers take lunch breaks?
On larger moves the crew may take a 30-minute lunch break, which you won’t be charged for. While it's not expected, providing lunch for your movers is always greatly appreciated and can help shorten the day since they won’t need to leave to grab food.
  • When does the clock start/stop for my move?
The clock starts when your movers arrive at the first address to begin the walkthrough, and ends after the truck has been unloaded and everything has been placed in your home (or business) to your satisfaction.
  • How far in advance should I plan to book moving services?
We'll always try our best to accommodate moves on short notice. However, it's best to book several weeks in advance.
  • When is payment due?
Payment of your remaining balance is due in full immediately upon completion of your move.
  • What happens if my plans change or I need to cancel my move?
Please provide us with as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change your move date! We'll always do our best to accommodate and work with vou to reschedule.
  • Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes, we have a 2-hour minimum labor charge and 1-hour minimum travel charge for any move. However, certain small furniture moving or delivery jobs may be booked for a flat rate.
  • Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cashiers check, and all major credit cards (subject to a 3% transaction fee)
  • Will my move require a deposit?
To secure the date(s) for your move we kindly ask for a $100 deposit. The deposit will be applied to your overall move cost, and you will settle the remaining balance after your move is completed. Flexibility is key - you can change the date or cancel your move altogether without forfeiting your deposit, as long as you provide us with at least a 48-hour notice before your booked time.
  • What about my pool table?
We are happy to move your pool table after it has been professionally disassembled (we do not currently offer disassembly service for pool tables).
  • Will you move our appliances?
Of course! If your refrigerator is moving with you, make sure to empty, clean, and defrost it at least 24 hours before moving day. Generally it is best to clean all appliances before movers arrive. If you're not comfortable unhooking the refrigerator or washer/dryer, we are happy to handle that for you.
  • Do you move pianos and gun safes?
We do move these items for an additional charge. However, we do not move grand/baby grand pianos or gun safes over 600 pounds. If there are a large number of stairs involved we may decline to move them altogether, simply for the safety of our team. If you have any unusually heavy or large items like these, please notify us in advance!
  • Can you move my workout equipment?
Absolutely. However, we do not currently offer assembly/disassembly services for complex equipment setups. Please reach out in advance of your move to discuss your workout equipment with us.
